The start of a new series. The series was mostly (if not entirely) shot during my second-year Drama Production final project shoot, where this camera, the Arriflex SRII, was used.

For this shot, we were wrapping after our first day of shooting, and this was shot at Singapore's Boat Quay area. I thought it would be interesting to see the camera "in the city".

I know the HDR doesn't look very HDR-ish. The sky's still blown out, but that's more due to the Photoshop Action used to bring up the saturation.

Also, colour's really something out of my element. I really prefer working with B&W, but this turns out pretty nice. Colour palette is pleasingly vibrant.
